Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?

Shopping at Heirloom Living Market gives you the selection of a traditional Farmers’ Market from the comfort of your home! You can browse the available products and order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. You will receive a weekly email telling you about new products, featured products of the week, Group Buy opportunities that are available or are coming available. The email will also include a link to the Heirloom Living Market Crossfit O-Zone so you can shop immediately!

Some people prefer to purchase a variety of veggies and those choices will be available. In addition, Doug’s Garden in Lilburn is making Produce Boxes (6 – 8 lbs) available and the selection will change with the seasons and with what is available to harvest on any given Tuesday, which is our Harvest Day! You will have the ability to view the Veggies included in the Produce Box for that week on the Market Page of this website.

How do I order?

Each Friday morning, the opening email is sent to all of our registered customers by e-mail. The Newsletter, “Bits and Bites” will arrive on Saturday morning and contains information about Weekly Specials, new offerings by the Farmers, Educational Class information, links to articles about the Local Food Movement, links to recipes and a link to shop at the Market.

Customers must place their order for the week no later than Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Orders can be placed here on our website. Ordering through this web site is our preferred method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes us to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about our products.

When do I pay?

We accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards when you pick up your order. We are charged 3% for any credit or debit card transactions and if you choose to use these methods of payment we must add 3% to your total.

Because we may have to adjust your total at Market Pickup,(to account for extra items you decide to purchase from the Farmers’ Sale Table at Market Pickup or items that were unexpectedly unavailable), we do not accept advance payment on the website.

Why Support Locally Grown?

Enhance your local economy: By purchasing produce and other items from local growers you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses.

Save natural resources: Buying locally makes you an invaluable link in the process of saving resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials. Also, we are right here in your community so the expense of transportation and delivery is kept to a minimum.

Provide learning opportunities: Locally Grown supporters provide member growers the means to help educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.

Supporting a way of life: The number of small farms in the United States has decreased dramatically in the last decade. Please help us preserve an honest and worthy means of making a living.

We believe that small, diverse, family-owned farms contribute to society’s overall health.
